Francesco Millucci

Francesco Millucci is a postdoctoral researcher at the Department of Physics and Geology, University of Perugia (Italy), specializing in the recycling and upcycling of polymeric and composite materials. He holds an MSc in Physics from the University of Perugia, with a thesis focused on spectroscopic investigations of the volume phase transition in poly(N-isopropylacrylamide) (PNIPAM) microgels. He earned his PhD in 2025 from the same institution, developing sustainable protocols for the chemical recycling of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) waste and composite materials. In 2024, he was a visiting PhD researcher at the Nanotechnology and Advanced Materials Laboratory (Department of Chemical Engineering, University of Patras). In 2025, he was formally appointed as an external collaborator with the same laboratory.
